This ranking is based on the number of investment transactions carried out by each investor, without taking into account the investment volume of each transaction. For the purpose of this ranking, a transaction means direct equity investments carried out by investors, both Spanish or non-Spanish, in Spanish companies. Build up and debt transactions have been specifically excluded. Co-investments in any given company jointly completed by several investors are accounted for as independent transactions. The lack of enough information does not allow us to build a thorough ranking on the basis of the specific resources committed by each investor, nor to establish a correlation between the number of transactions and investors' committed investment. |
